For personal and moral reasons, I choose to release the majority of my work for free, and under a Creative Commons license, meaning no royalties will ever have to be paid for use of my music in either commercial or non-profit projects, nor are any royalties collected for public performances of my music. All of my music is freely available to listen and to download via my SoundCloud page, and all of my sheet music is available to download freely via IMSLP.
As a result of this, my only source of income is through commissions for new works, optional album purchases and sheet music sales, and most importantly, generous donataions from dedicated listeners.
